Effect of Moringa oleifera Seed Extract Administered through Drinking Water on Physiological Responses, Carcass and Meat Quality Traits, and Bone Parameters in Broiler Chickens

The efficacy of Moringa oleifera seed extract (MSE) in broiler nutrition is unknown. Thus, this study evaluated the effect administering MSE through drinking water on physiological responses, carcass and meat quality traits, bone parameters Cobb 500 broilers. One-day-old male chicks (n = 250, 58.1 ± 0.23 g live-weight) were randomly allotted into five treatments replicates. were: negative control with only (NC); a positive 5 probiotic (containing Aspergillus oryzae, Bacillus subtilis, Enterococcus faecium, Lactobacillus acidophilus; bacterial count × 108 CFU/g) added 1 L (PC), 60 mL MSE/L (MSE60); 90 (MSE90); 120 (MSE120). groups promoted higher (p < 0.05) weights than PC NC groups. Spleen quadratically responded to levels. Gizzard weight, duodenum length, acidic goblet cell (GCC), total duodenal ileal GCC linearly increased Tibia breaking strength, tibia calcium showed linear increases whereas length tibiotarsal index decreases It can be concluded that administration via improved weights, intestinal morphology, some birds.
